Levon Aronian won the game against V. Anand

Armenian GM, leader of the Men Zurich Chess Challenge Levon Aronian won the game against Viswanathan Anand at the first round of the classic tournament. The game lasted for six hours and Aronian managed to win. The GMs exchanged 73 steps. 

At the same time Magnus Carlsen won the game against Boris Gelfand. Hikaru Nakamura-Fabiano Caruana pair shared the point.   

Zurich Chess Challenge lasts from January 29 to February 4.
