Catherine Ashton will visit Iran in March

EU foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton will visit Iran in early March to talk with Iranian officials. Iranian ISNA news agency reported about this  on Feb. 5.

The EU top diplomat who recently met with Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in Munich, Germany, during a security conference announced she will be visiting Iran within the upcoming weeks to talk with Iranian officials on regional developments.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif invited the EU foreign policy chief to visit Iran during his first meeting with Ashton whilst attending the UN General Assembly in New York in Sep. 2013.

Iran and the P5+1 agreed to start talks over a final deal on Iran’s nuclear issue in Vienna on February 18.

The next round of the Iran-six world powers nuclear talks are scheduled to be held later in March and in mid-April, Iranian source reports.
