Captured by Azerbaijanis Mamikon Khojoyan will be returned to Armenian side

Armenian citizen Mamikon Khojoyan who was captured by Azerbaijani side, will be handed to Armenian side today. Press speaker of Armenian Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan informed about this PanARMENIAN.net informs about this. He underlined that the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) is now engaged in this issue and the ICRC representatives will visit border. 

Azerbaijani side also informed before that Mamikon Khojoyan will be handed back to Armenian side today, on March 4. 

Remind, that Azerbaijani media spread information according which Mamikon Khojoyan was a saboteur and was armed during the “sabotage”. Later it became obvious that Azerbaijani side is lying again and Khojoyan was 77-years-old resident of Tavoush region, Verin Karmiraghbyur village. The old man has mental illness and was under doctors’ supervision.
