Iranian official: If Baku and Yerevan accept mediation of Minsk Group, this is their own business

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania, special representative for Caspian Sea Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour referred to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue settlement during the press-coneference. 

“If Baku and Yerevan accept mediation of Minsk Group, this is their own business”, he especially said.

According to the Azerbaijani media, speaking about the international practice, Rahimpour said that any problem should firstly be solved in the bilateral format, thereafter with the participation of the regional states: “We approach other conflicts in this manner. For example, we have the same position on the issues regarding Syria and Afghanistan”.
